The current Pinellas County Libertarian Party of Florida affiliate was established August 4, 2004.

Since the Pinellas County Libertarian Party of Florida became an LPF affiliate in 2004 Pinellas County has gained 400+ new Registered Libertarian Voters Pinellas County has been ranked the #1 county in Florida with the highest number of Registered Libertarian Voters.
It has a relatively large number of people in public office, with an aim of 30 (it has 9 as of 2008).
