Bylaws and Rules Committee (2024)

The Bylaws and Rules Committee recommends bylaw amendments and convention rule amendments to the assembled delegates during national conventions. Those amendments are then debated and voted on by the delegates at the 2024 National Convention.

Election of Committee

The initial committee appointments were made during the Libertarian National Committee meeting held on November 5-6, 2022 in Austin, TX.[1] Seven alternates were named on November 9, 2022.[2]

Election of Permanent Committee Officers

Caryn Ann Harlos was elected as the Chair (info) and Sylvia Arrowwood was elected as the Secretary (info) of the committee on December 9, 2022 when the results of the online vote of committee members was announced.[3] Ken Moellman was elected as Vice-Chair of the committee on December 11, 2022.[4] After Ken Moellman resigned from the committee Chuck Moulton was elected committee Vice-Chair to fill the vacancy.[5]
