Congress of the Confederation

The Congress of the Confederation was the body previously known as the Second Continental Congress and the direct predecessor of both the US Congress and US Senate. Its president was effectively the predecessor of the current US presidency as well as the presidency of the US Senate and the Speaker of the House.
