Libertarian National Committee, Inc. (LNC) [1] is a corporation formed in 1995 under the District of Columbia Non-Profit Corporation Act. It was created to serve as the "operational arm" of the national Libertarian Party, to conduct such activities as employment of staff, procurement of office space, and contracting with providers of goods and services. For the purposes of federal campaign finance law, this corporation is the "political committee" that receives all contributions to the national Libertarian Party and makes expenditures to further the policies of the Libertarian Party.

This corporation itself has no "members". Individuals who meet the membership qualifications specified in the Bylaws are members of the Libertarian Party.

The Board of Directors of Libertarian National Committee, Inc. is the Libertarian National Committee, elected and conducting its affairs as provided for by the Libertarian Party's Bylaws.
