The Libertarian Party of Lafayette Parish was officially organized April 2012. As of August 2012, it is one of three Parish Executive Committees (PEC) for the Libertarian Party in Louisiana.

History

A caucus was held April 4, 2012 at Bisbano's pizzeria, the site of monthly Meetup.com meetings for the LP in Lafayette. Five members were selected to the PEC, which then conducted their first meeting to select officers. Convention Committee delegates and alternate nominations have been deferred till the next caucus in 2015/2016 which will precede the next State Convention.

Meetings

The Lafayette PEC meets on the first Wednesday of the month at Bisbano's and their regular Meetup follows the business session. Their meetings are scheduled on their Meetup.com site.
