The 2024 Libertarian Party of New York State Convention is scheduled to take place on September 21, 2024.

Preparation

The date of the convention was originally set to be two days and take place September 21-22, 2024. Chair Andrew Kolstee was aiming to hold the convention downstate, in New York City or Long Island, but pricing of venues made it difficult. Other venues were sought in Westchester County and along the Hudson River, until it was settled on Albany. Those involved in the process include Justin Carman, Pietro Geraci, Chance Haywood, Susan Overeem-Cummings, and Catrina Rocco.

The location of the Courtyard Albany Thruway Hotel was determined as the venue, which was changed to a one day convention.
