Traci Baker (born March 28, 1998) is a libertarian activist from Oklahoma. She was born in Lawton, Oklahoma and adopted at birth to a working class family in Oklahoma City. Baker is openly transgender, and is the first such person to serve on an executive committee for a political party in Oklahoma history. She began working with the party in 2016, where she served as Oklahoma's volunteer director for Gary Johnson after a brief stint with the John McAfee campaign. After the election she served as secretary of Outright Libertarians as well as head candidate liaison for the Libertarian Party of Oklahoma. She was elected as state secretary for the OKLP in March of 2018, defeating NOTA with only one vote against her. She was elected at this convention as a delegate to the 2018 National Convention and was also chosen to chair the Oklahoma delegation at said convention.

Campaigns

Norman City Council

Baker has run twice for city council in Norman, Oklahoma. In 2017, she ran in Norman's 7th ward, receiving 20.96% of the vote against the incumbent despite being eighteen and having lived in the district for only four months prior to filing. She successfully defended a challenge to her candidacy by the incumbent as well. In 2018 she ran in the city's 2nd Ward for an open seat against three challengers, receiving 5% of the vote.
